Getting to and from Brisbane International Airport (BNE)

Each terminal is connected to Brisbane and the Gold Coast via the Airport line. Two stations on an airport rail route that is privately owned serve passengers. The domestic and international terminal train stations are on platforms above ground level. Most trains carry on to the Gold Coast via South Bank.

The AirTrain Citylink partnership owns and manages both stations. Therefore, prices are higher than for a standard suburban ticket but lower than for a taxi. It gets you from Brisbane Airport to Fortitude Valley and the heart of the city of Brisbane via the Queensland Rail City network.

Taxi Services at Brisbane Airport

Taxi stands with roofs are available around the clock outside the Domestic and International Terminals. At busy times, officers stationed at the curb can assist with the influx of people.

Domestic Terminal: The Domestic Terminal's taxi stand is opposite the terminal's main entrance.

International Terminal: You will find the taxi stand outside International Door 2 on Arrivals Road, to the left of the terminal.

A quick and easy way to get to and from the airport is to take the Brisbane AirTrain. The commute time between Brisbane Airport and the city's heart is only twenty minutes.

Surfers Paradise and the Gold Coast's beaches are easily accessible thanks to the AirTrain’s direct route to the Gold Coast, which links up with the G:link tram (also known as the Gold Coast Light Rail).

Bus Services at Brisbane Airport

An airport bus service is provided by the Brisbane City Council. You may get bus 590 from either terminal every day of the week. However, it will drop you off at Skygate Center.

Rideshare Services at Brisbane Airport

Brisbane International Airport was one of the first in Australia to approve ridesharing services, including Uber, Didi, Ola, and Sheba, for passenger pickup. A ride can be arranged through a user's preferred app, and the driver and passenger can meet at a designated spot.

From Level 2, access Level 1 by the escalator or elevator. Then, exit the Terminal building via the left-hand exit, following the Rideshare Booking signs to the outdoor parking area. You can also utilize the ridesharing app's in-app map to get to the agreed-upon meeting point.

Parking Services at Brisbane Airport

Parking garages at Brisbane Airport are open around the clock every day of the week. There are two covered parking garages, one for long-term and one for short-term stays: the international garage and the domestic garage. Valet parking is available from both Qantas and Virgin Australia, although only at the domestic terminal.

The airport's front entrance is conveniently next to the short-term parking lots. You can rent it for up to 24 hours at a time for reasonable prices. Some parking facilities provide cheaper rates for stays longer than 24 hours and are located some distance from the terminals.

Passengers who want to avoid the hassle of locating parking at the airport can take advantage of the Valet Parking service, which allows them to leave their vehicle at the terminal. At the same time, they go through the check-in process.
