Cairns International Airport Parking

Within the parking lots, as close to the terminal as possible, many spaces are reserved for disabled passengers. Only vehicles with a valid disability parking sticker may park in these spaces.

There are notable drop-off and pick-up locations for passengers with special needs in front of each terminal. The driver may exit the vehicle to accompany the passenger into the check-in area but must return to the car quickly.

Disabled Parking at Cairns Airport

Cairns Airport's Disabled Parking is available for anyone with limited mobility. Disabled passengers can park lots near the airport's terminal and make a direct trip inside.

Short-term, long-term, and premium parking, as well as designated spaces for the disabled, are available at Cairns Airport. These signs may be found near the terminal's entrance and lead directly to the elevators that take passengers from street level to the main concourse.

Parking spaces accessible to people with disabilities are marked with appropriate signage in all public parking lots. The accessible parking spaces in the public parking garage are right beside the terminal entrances.

Wheelchair passengers can enter and leave Cairns Airport for no cost, as there are designated parking spaces throughout the airport. Only vehicles displaying the proper and current permit stickers can park in these areas.
