Trains to and from Gold Coast Airport (OOL)

There are no connections to the airport through either heavy or light rail. The drive to the nearest station, Varsity Lakes, takes around 15 minutes.

For directions to the Gold Coast Airport from Varsity Lakes Station, get off at Varsity Lakes Station and hop on bus Route 760.

Note: Ormeau, Coomera, Helensvale, Nerang, Robina, and Varsity Lakes are the Gold Coast's six train stations.

Connectivity to the vastly more extensive Queensland Rail network is provided. It's a stop along the Southeast rail line terminates at Brisbane Airport Station.

The rail line follows the coastline westward (closely following the M1 motorway). Most hotels and other vacation rental establishments are located within a ten- to fifteen-minute drive of each train station (in Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach).

Although there are no direct train lines to the beach, riders can transfer to the Gold Coast Light Rail at the Helensvale station and continue to the popular beachside destinations of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach.
